Oxygen, where your body needs it most.
Pure oxygen at increased pressure, dissolving directly into the blood plasma: the recovery secret of elite athletes, in the Zeugma chamber by HPO Tech, now in Geneva.
Hyperbaric Oxygenation, or HBOT, delivers pure oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure. Under pressure, oxygen dissolves directly into the blood plasma, reaching tissues beyond what red blood cells can carry.
The recovery secret of elite athletes, now in Geneva.
Sammā offers HBOT in the Zeugma by HPO Tech, the chamber maker trusted by Manchester United, Newcastle United, the Brooklyn Nets, and leading longevity centres worldwide.
Research suggests that repeated sessions can support circulation, reduce inflammation, and stimulate the body's own repair mechanisms, including the formation of new blood vessels.
Sessions are tailored to your goals, from physical recovery to cognitive clarity, and adapted to your tolerance with attention to safety and progression. A supportive technology for resilience, regeneration, and renewal.
Before any session, the practitioner carries out a full assessment to check for contraindications and to define the most suitable protocol: number of sessions, pressure level, duration.
You settle comfortably into the hyperbaric chamber, which is gradually pressurised. The practitioner remains in contact with you throughout and the pressure is adjusted to your comfort.
Once at pressure, you breathe pure oxygen for the duration of the session. Most people read, listen to music or simply rest. The cabin is calm, the rhythm slow.
The chamber is slowly returned to normal pressure. After a short rest, the practitioner reviews your sensations and adjusts the next sessions accordingly. HBOT is generally proposed as a series, and the progress is reviewed over time.
When practised in a calibrated chamber by a trained practitioner, HBOT is considered safe for most people. Specific cardiac, pulmonary or ENT conditions may be contraindications. We invite you to share your medical history during the intake so that the protocol can be tailored to you.
A series of sessions is often recommended, particularly when supporting chronic conditions or when this approach is included as part of an ongoing health and wellbeing routine. The frequency and number of sessions depend on your individual needs, goals and response over time, with the plan adjusted as your situation evolves.
As the chamber pressurises, you may feel pressure in your ears similar to taking off or landing in an aeroplane. You will be shown simple techniques to equalise your ears, and the pressure can be adjusted gradually to keep you comfortable throughout the session.
Each appointment lasts 60 minutes in total, including approximately 45 minutes inside the chamber. The remaining time allows for preparation and gradual pressurisation and decompression.
